Mattan came looking for a home. I didn't expect it to be me.

From the moment we meet on the road outside Ashkelon, I'm drawn to the quiet stranger who left everything he knew behind for the promise of a place where people are free to be themselves. Watching Mattan discover his place within our community quickly becomes my favorite part of every day. And weaving him into my own life feels just as natural.

Until things begin to unravel.

Everything we've spent years building—the life Mattan has only just found—the future we’ve only just begun to imagine—is suddenly on the brink of destruction. And the only way to save our home and ourselves requires believing in the impossible…
